Only 2 more days until I start round 2 of Insanity.  This time I will measure myself from day 1 instead of a few days in.  I will also focus on writing a review of each of the CD workouts.  As this program is not really about dropping pounds, but toning up and building core muscle strength.  I won't have the false idea that this program will help me fit into my clothes.  I took a month off after the first round and felt that my body needed to relax and get healthy again.  My knees were tore up and asking for a break.  I took to working out using P90x.  It was a much needed break.  However, the crazy part of me is sickly wanting to get back to Sean T's Insane workouts.  I also joined Gold's Gym, just because they had a fabulous deal for $9.95 a month.  I'm planning on going there to get warmed up after work and then finish up with month 1 Insanity workouts.  At this point I'm not sure if I'll head into month 2.  That was just outright insane.  My goal is to try to get in shape through the holiday season(Thanksgiving and Christmas).  That way I know it will be an easier fight coming into Spring and then of course bikini season.  I know I'm getting way ahead of myself, but if I don't who will.  Ha :)  Anyone interested in coming along for the ride can check back beginning October 1st.  I may not post until late that day after my workout(s).  If you don't see a post, just don't give up on me I may be so exhausted I post the next day.  For those who are already working on round 2 or just beginning day 1 of insanity congratulations and good luck!  We'll need it!!!

I was on a journey this summer.  I made a decision to take care of me.   I know, CRAZY right?

Well, as a full-time working mother of 4 kids, 2 dogs, and don't forget the hubby it can be difficult to find time for little old me.  BUT.... I did and now I'm actually 54 days into it.  I've been committed all summer to working out with High Intensity Cardio Excercise, otherwise known as INSANITY.  It was INSANE!  Shawn T is a great motivator, but his workouts are BANANAZ!

I have about a week left and I'm pumped to finish and EARN the T-shirt.  I can totally tell the difference in my muscle tone.  This program didn't help me reach my weight goal yet, as it really changes your body by building muscle.  Since muscle weighs more than fat it was difficult to really lose in numbers.

I will be posting my review of the program and experiences I had going through it the 1st time.  Yes, I did say 1st time.  I plan on another round right after I finish next weekend.  I am in the best shape of my life at this point and plan on participating in some Fun Runs soon.  First, I have to work on running 3 miles without stopping!  That's my next goal :)

For those who are wanting start INSANITY, I say DO IT!!!  You will not regret it :)
